Beauty is living
as yourself
Beauty is not only about appearance. It is about whether you can be yourself, and that feeling is what carries a person forward. This was the first question Adachi placed at the heart of his media.
From social care to nursing, from hospitals in Japan to the United States, and from prevention to business. Every detour turned out to be preparation for one goal: a world where people choose aesthetic medicine through understanding. The story of Kenichi Adachi, in six scenes.

Beauty is not only about appearance. It is about whether you can be yourself, and that feeling is what carries a person forward. This was the first question Adachi placed at the heart of his media.

At nineteen, a condition he had lived with since childhood suddenly worsened, and he spent about a year shut away. Finding his way back shaped everything that followed.
He began in social care, went back to school at twenty, and became a nurse, working in the High Care Unit of The Jikei University Kashiwa Hospital.

He taught himself English over two years in the Philippines, then earned a BSN in the United States and became a US Registered Nurse.
Health is built not only by treatment but by prevention and daily self-care. What he saw in American healthcare became the root of NERO's editorial approach.

Back in Japan, he joined a company supporting clinics in functional medicine and nutritional science. Patients kept telling him the same thing: they had searched and searched, and found the right information only by chance.
Those who struggle most are farthest from good information, while doctors can share their philosophy only through referrals and word of mouth. To learn how to build a system that connects both sides, he completed an MBA at GLOBIS University.

He established RADIEN Inc. in January 2024 and launched the aesthetic medicine media NERO that April. NERO means “black” in Italian, a name chosen for information that stays neutral and unswayed.
Doctor-supervised articles, specialist interviews, conference coverage, an English edition and a podcast, all grounded in primary sources and evidence.

Running a media company made one thing clear: a clinic's communication does not end on its own website. Third-party media, search and AI, maps, video and audio: RADIEN INTEGRATION connects them all in a single strategy.
Toward a world where aesthetic medicine is chosen through understanding, not emotion.
The full nine-chapter interview is published on NERO in English and Japanese.

We help clinics in Japan communicate with international patients through English editorial content on NERO International. Inquiries in English are welcome.
